As a rule, shafts are supported by two bearing housings. Additional housings are used for particularly long shafts. At Fröhlich & Dörken you will find a wide range of bearing housings, including plummer block housings, housing bearings, radial insert ball bearing units and bearing units. The type designations vary depending on the manufacturer. For example, SKF uses the designations SNH or SNL for plummer block housings, while FAG uses the designation SNV. This is followed by a numerical size specification. Complete bearing housings, consisting of housing and bearing unit, can vary greatly depending on the manufacturer. At Schaeffler, for example, they begin with PASE, while RHP uses the designation NP. You can find a conversion list for RHP Self-Lube housing bearings here. We offer adapter sleeves, withdrawal sleeves, nuts, circlips, lock washers and various rolling bearing greases to match all housings and bearings. The range is rounded off with balls, rollers, needles and heads, including special designs. We will be happy to advise you by telephone, via TEAMS or on site.
