Speed (rolling bearing)

The speed of rolling bearings refers to the maximum rotational speed at which the bearing can be operated without damage occurring.   • Mounting and alignment: Precise mounting and alignment of the bearing in the machine are important in order to avoid undesirable vibrations and axial loads that could impair the speed capacity.

When selecting a bearing for a particular application, it is important to consider the specific speed requirements and choose a bearing that meets these requirements. It is also important to keep an eye on the speed of the bearing during operation and ensure that it remains within the limits specified by the manufacturer to ensure safe and reliable operation.
